The water is passed through a medium which retains the solids and allows only water to pass through. It is important that one gets clean, purified water to avoid waterborne diseases. There are various types of water filtration. They include; ion exchange, distillation, filtration, ultra-filtration and reverse osmosis. more

Jamesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2960739132230774024.post-31856335878786230942014-01-18T07:17:13.218-05:002014-01-18T07:17:13.218-05:00Best Water Softener Reviews Find the best water so...Best Water Softener Reviews
Find the best water softener reviews at Top Rated Water Softener Reviews.com we are here to help you
as you make a purchase to improve your water quality
water treatment

Also more details click hereJebon Alanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17594715086160195274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2960739132230774024.post-22149929674735095622013-11-10T13:46:21.954-05:002013-11-10T13:46:21.954-05:00Important post. Women and girls who travel hours to fetch clean water for their families can't go to school or hold on to a job. Without proper sanitation, human waste pollutes waterways and wildlife habitat. Global warming and population pressures are drying up water supplies and instigating conflict over scarce resources. Expanding access to clean water and sanitation will have ripple effects throughout local economies and societies.
@ LINAsistemas de tratamiento de aguahttp://www.aguavert.mx/plantatratamientodeagua/productoinformativonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2960739132230774024.post-22558185085766003292013-09-03T08:58:55.297-04:002013-09-03T08:58:55.297-04:00Mark, do they make something suitable for kayaking...Mark, do they make something suitable for kayaking? Reverse osmosis me...This is interesting discussion. Reverse osmosis membranes rejects most salts, but allow pure water to pass through. The problem is, you need to exceed the osmotic pressure to allow water pass through the RO membrane. For sea water like Pacific Ocean with total dissolved solids of 33,000 mg/L, the osmotic pressure will be about 350 psi. Allow another 300 psig to overcome mechanical losses, so you are looking at 650 psi. You can generate this pressure using hand pump and may recover 10-15% water. I think you are mistaken. Once sodium chloride dissolves in water it becomes much smaller than its crystallized form and separates into sodium and chloride ions. These would be impossible (I think) to filter mechanically. Someone tell me if I'm wrong.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
