Thanks for the comment, glad you like it. Content will be thin for the next month as I am just about to start a month o kayaking in Alaska. But the fall will be busy. I hope to have the book which is an updated version if the blog available by Christmas.

Met a friend of yours in Key Largo, FL...Andrew at West Marine while buying a VHF radio for our kayak trip this spring. There are 5 of us...many ex-NOL's grads and instructors. Leslie Appling, NOLS instructor also, came up with this plan and we are mid/post stream in planning and organizing. We are hoping to kayak the entire coast/barrier reef of Belize this spring. We have 3.5 weeks and several hundred miles. But not dealing with cold...more heat and bugs. Every environment has its own challenges! How fantastic to find your site and all you have to share/offer/give. Awesome.
Thanks. Would love to throw out some of our questions that you most likely have asked and conquered regarding so much.
