July of 2014, 4 kayakers will paddle 350 miles in Alaska’s Prince William Sound with one goal. Using
archival photos of six well know glaciers from the 1950’s, these paddlers will attempt to find the exact
spot the photos were taken from, and reproduce them today. Will we see a dramatic change? We will
know next July.
We will be making a short film about the trip with the goal of submitting the film to the Banff Mountain Film Festival.

Will you even be able to find the exact spot that the original photos were taken from?
That's a great question, and the answer is, we aren't sure. We are choosing photos that show prominent geographical features, so we are hoping we can line up mountain peaks. It should be entertaining, to say the least.
How will you get your boats and gear to Alaska? You are based in the American South!
We will be driving our kayaks and all of our gear 4700 miles across the continent to our put-in in Whittier Alaska. We don't have the resources to ship our gear across North America.
