There are two paths you can take in a kayak. The first path - taken by most - is to get into your kayak with no instruction and paddle. You will have fun, but you won't experience the true beauty of kayaking. The other path, which is only chosen by a few is to embark on a journey to learn how to correctly paddle a kayak. This is a more difficult path, but like most difficult journeys the rewards are much greater.
